India at the UN Conference on Disarmament 2020 reiterated its commitment to the nuclear doctrine of "No First Use" against nuclear weapon states and non-use against non-nuclear weapon states. At the same time, India also reaffirmed its commitment to a universal, verifi­able and non-discriminatory nuclear disarmament for the complete elimination of nuclear weapons from the world.
